Chihuly at The Salk

Seeing a monumental installation of Dale Chihuly's glass in the afternoon sun overlooking the ocean, rather than in a museum or gallery with artificial lighting, was a remarkable experience. It was fun to get there as the installation was just finishing up, and we could see how the chandelier pieces were put together.
