Barbie Steps Out

Barbie's body is covered with bits of Hebrew liturgy, as she ventures into new territory accompanied by her bird-totem. Her journey takes her on a rocky road past the "yahrzeit" candle (lit on the anniversary of the death of a loved one in Jewish tradition). The shoe is changed on the other side of a narrow crossing, and the field becomes joyous, lush, and musical.
